A Missouri Lottery player could hardly believe his eyes when his “$250 Million Extravaganza” Scratchers ticket revealed one of the game’s $50,000 prizes. The winning ticket was purchased at Stop and Shop, 2587 N. Range Line Road, in Webb City.
“I had to double-check it multiple times,” said the winner. “One prize spot right in the middle of the ticket was 50 times $1,000!”
“$250 Million Extravaganza” players have won more than $5.7 million in prizes since the $50 game was launched on May 27. Over $261.4 million in prizes remain unclaimed, including all three top prizes of $5 million, three $1 million prizes and 48 additional $50,000 prizes.
In FY24, players in Jasper County won more than $15 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $1.4 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $3.5 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
